What features make WMS so Compelling?
The Tech-Smithy.com Website Mangement System (WMS) allows web designers and end-user (website content owners) the ability to manage the layout and content of the site in real-time directly through any browser attached to the Internet 24 hours a day 365 days a year without engaging a third party.

This means that the owner of a website can change content on the site without engaging a web-developer, using only the skills required to browse the web and edit any type of text document.  WMS content owners can add a page to his or her website, create a blog entry, add items to a FAQ, etc all using rich text like coloring fonts, centering information, and even inserting hyperlinks and images into the page.  These inserted pages, blogs, or entries in a FAQ are automatically styled to be consistent with the rest of the site, and all the changes can be made without any special applications installed on the computer, without any knowledge of HTML, and without access to a file server.  A website content owner with knowledge of HTML and web applications can take WMS even further by being their own designer.

The web designer has similar access to the layout and setup of the website 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  There is no need to access the server file system using WMS, the changes are all made directly through the web and all changes are immediately available in real-time.  The designer can also use the WMS API to build custom applications that integrate with Email notification systems, paypal applications, and backend processes to automate business services.

This is NOT a content management framework.  All pages in WMS are 100% customizable and anything on the page can be changed, moved, deleted, etc.

Tech-smithy.com provides integration assistance for Web Designers who want automation services but who are not interested in writing the backend services.  The WMS API allows for rapid development of applications to automate business processes and an automation module can usually be written and integrated into a website for a low one-time charge.
